Grundéns Balder

In close cooperation with professional fishermen and the Grundéns staff in Seattle we have developed the new heavy duty range, Balder.

Balder is designed for professional fishermen, working under the toughest cold weather conditions we have on this planet.

The big issue when we developed this range, was to design garments with lighter weight and increased strength. There was no room for a single compromise in this quest. With the combined experience of fabric producers, coating experts and the Grundéns staff at the factory we made a complicated combination of materials and garment details that together made this possible.

We think of Balder as the grandson of Grundéns legendary fishermen garments Hercules and Brig. All that experience inherited and combined with modern design skills made Balder come to life.
